Creator of the First Novaa Collection
Christina Shiu is widely recognised as a singing bowl teacher with over a decade of experience, yet her roots have always been deeply connected to the arts. Born in Hong Kong and having lived in Singapore for many years, Christina began painting from a young age, earning multiple art awards as she explored watercolour, acrylic, and later, digital art. Her creative themes often draw from energy, movement, and flow — expressions that mirror her approach to sound healing.
Bringing together her artistic background and long-standing work with sound, Christina designs crystal singing bowls that unite sound, colour, and wellbeing into one harmonious and intentional experience.
I’m deeply honoured to be presented this rare role to design for Novaa. I was impressed by the possibility to create the exact sounds and harmonies. Being able to play with colours and creativity is a complete luxury. Seeing each of my creation to come to life one by one is a dream come true.
